Introduction to Honey Sensory Analysis (Online via Italy)

Through four interactive sessions we will provide the basic of honey sensory technique to 12 selected high-quality single-origin honeys. Every participant will shipped an individual honey kit. Lectures will alternate to ‘tongue-on’ exercise. You will learn how honey is produced and about all the key steps that bees and beekeepers must overcome properly to ensure the highest quality. You will learn how sensitive your senses are; improve your sensory discrimination capability & vocabulary. You will learn to detect the flavor profiles of honeys, while also being trained to recognize defective honeys. You will have the opportunity to learn more about honey contests while being a judge in a mock honey competition! The online class is a total of 12 hours over 4 days (3hours per day) February 20-21 & 27-28, 2021 from 8-11 am CET, (that is 2 am- 5 am EST). Check your time zone  here
